The natural amethyst centre benefits from occasional gentle cleaning, and like all amethyst should be kept away from prolonged direct sunlight. The small scale means fine detail needs a little more attention when cleaning.
Use a soft-bristled toothbrush with warm water and mild dish soap — work gently through the fine detail and behind the amethyst claw setting. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a lint-free cloth. Do not use toothpaste or abrasive cleaners at this scale.
