Handcrafted wedding bands made in New Zealand — from bespoke two-tone gold and modern zirconium designs to the Lord of the Rings wedding rings that bring Middle-earth to your hand. Whether you want a timeless solid gold band or the One Ring itself as your wedding ring, each piece is made to order to your finger size.
Solid 9ct & 18ct gold — built to last a marriage
Our gold bands are solid 9 carat and 18 carat gold in yellow, white and rose, chosen for genuine durability and lifelong wear — not plating that wears thin. The choice between 9ct and 18ct comes down to balance: 9ct is harder and more hard-wearing, while 18ct offers a richer colour and higher gold purity. We'll help you choose the right one for your hand and your life.
Lord of the Rings wedding rings
For Tolkien-loving couples, the One Ring makes an unforgettable wedding band — available in solid gold with fine engraving, made in New Zealand by the New Line Productions licence holders. Galadriel's Nenya in white gold has likewise become a sought-after engagement ring, its claw-set stone echoing the Ring of Adamant itself.
Bespoke & custom designs
Many of our bands — the two-tone Greek Key Labyrinth, the geometric cross-hatch, the black zirconium and gold Strata — are custom-made to order. If you have a design in mind, talk to us: we craft wedding rings to your specification here in New Zealand.
NZ Wedding Rings — Frequently Asked Questions
Can I have the One Ring as a wedding band?
Yes — the One Ring in solid gold is one of our most meaningful wedding bands, made to order in New Zealand by the New Line Productions licence holders. Because it's solid precious metal rather than plated, it's suitable for everyday lifelong wear.
What's the difference between 9ct and 18ct gold?
9ct gold contains 37.5% pure gold and is harder and more scratch-resistant, making it very practical for daily wear. 18ct gold contains 75% pure gold, giving a richer colour and greater purity at a higher price. Both are excellent for wedding bands — the right choice depends on your priorities for colour, durability and budget.
Are your wedding rings made to order?
Most are, yes — they're handcrafted to your finger size in New Zealand. Custom and bespoke designs take longer than stock pieces, so if you have a wedding date, contact us early so we can confirm timing.
Can you make a custom or bespoke design?
We can. Several bands in this collection are custom-made, and we welcome bespoke commissions. If you have a design, a motif, or a two-tone combination in mind, get in touch and we'll work with you to create it.
How do I find my ring size?
For a wedding band you'll want an accurate fit, so we recommend having your finger measured by a local jeweller. Our product pages include a ring size conversion chart, and you're welcome to contact us if you need help converting between US and UK/NZ sizes.
What is zirconium and why choose it?
Zirconium is a modern, highly durable metal that can be finished in a deep black, creating striking contrast against gold inlays. It's an excellent choice for a contemporary, hard-wearing band — as seen in our Midnight Celtic and Strata designs.
