Because each bangle is hand-engraved and custom-made to order, no two are exactly alike. Allow approximately two weeks for your jewellers in New Zealand to complete the engraving before dispatch.
The Black Speech inscription is hand-engraved by master jewellers — each letter cut individually into the solid silver by hand, not produced by a laser or cast into a mould. Hand engraving produces a depth and character that machine processes cannot replicate: slightly variable letter pressure, the subtle evidence of a skilled craftsperson's hand, the same tradition of metalwork the Elves of Middle-earth would have recognised as their own. On the finger-ring, the text runs half on the outside and half on the inside, so the full verse is only accessible when the ring is removed and examined. On this bangle, both surfaces are engraved — the full text visible on the outside as you glance at your wrist, and the continuation on the inside, touching your skin.
